The theme of this semester’s contest is “Creative Communication in Food-Related Education.” After watching one of our presentations, students will create a special project to communicate what they learned, how this knowledge impacts their daily choices, and how everyone can play a role in creating a healthier, more sustainable, and more compassionate food system.

Contest Details
All contest entries must include:

The name of the ECP presentation your submission is based on.

At least one fact you learned from an ECP presentation and how it relates to creating a more sustainable food system.

At least one example of why the information you learned from the presentation impacted you.

At least one example of a food-related change you have made in your life since watching the presentation.

At least one suggestion to help others make more sustainable food choices in their daily lives or community.

Prizes
Videos and presentations may not exceed 15 minutes in length. Written content may not exceed 2,000 words. Physical artwork will not be accepted. Please take high-quality photographs of your work. Please include links to your work in the entry form above.
Submission requirements:

Entry must be created by student(s) ages 12-18

Entry must be submitted by the student’s teacher or legal guardian

Entry must be submitted through the form below

All entries will receive a certificate of entry.

All entries may receive recognition on ECP’s website, social media, newsletter, and other materials.

Selected winners will also receive:

a physical, personally engraved award from Rivanna Natural Designs

a handwritten letter of acknowledgment from ECP’s CEO Lorena Mucke
