"Last month, I had the privilege of attending the 2025 Reducetarian Summit in Atlanta, Georgia, alongside our founder and CEO, Lorena Mucke. The three-day event brought together hundreds of changemakers, educators, scientists, advocates, and entrepreneurs, dedicated to reducing animal product consumption for the benefit of human health, the environment, and animal welfare. It was an energizing and deeply meaningful experience.

The Reducetarian Summit is all about collaboration and progress. It’s about showing that real change happens when people come together to educate, innovate, and act. Being surrounded by others who share our passion reminded us of the essential role education plays in creating a more sustainable and compassionate world.

Throughout the event, Lorena and I reconnected with long-time partners who continue to champion our mission, and we met new allies eager to collaborate on future initiatives. These conversations not only strengthened existing relationships but also opened doors for new opportunities to expand our reach and deepen our impact.

Hearing from inspiring speakers reinforced what drives our work every day: when people understand the “why” behind their choices, lasting change follows. Our presence at the summit reaffirmed ECP’s vital role in equipping learners with the knowledge and tools to make informed, compassionate decisions.

We left Atlanta feeling inspired, motivated, and grateful for the partnerships we’ve built, the new ones we’ve begun, and the collective momentum toward a kinder, healthier planet."
