The Educated Choices Program (ECP) was proud to participate in the 2025 Beyond School Hours conference, held in sunny Orlando, Florida. Representing our team was Gerard Martinez, Customer Relations Manager, who had the opportunity to connect with a vibrant community of educators, administrators, and nonprofit leaders dedicated to enriching student experiences in the classroom and beyond.

This was one of the first conferences where we had the opportunity to introduce our brand-new Bite-Sized Learning Series in person! Designed specifically for students ages 8–11, these lessons offer a fun way to spark critical thinking about food systems, sustainability, and personal health in elementary schools and community settings.

Our booth welcomed a diverse range of professionals, including culinary teachers, after-school program directors, Girl Scout leaders, real estate advocates for education, and life-skills educators, all drawn by our free, evidence-based education packages focused on environmental and nutrition literacy.

Many were thrilled to learn that ECP is a nonprofit organization that has reached 63 countries. A common question we received was, “Are your materials truly free?” The answer is a resounding yes! We believe education should never come with a price tag, thanks to the support from individual donors and grants.

Conferences like this reaffirm why we do what we do. Every conversation, whether about engaging younger learners, expanding access, or creating more inclusive content, strengthens our commitment to empowering individuals and students worldwide through free, impactful education.
