ATLANTA, July 10, 2025 – The Educated Choices Program (ECP), a global nonprofit delivering free, science-backed education on the impact of food choices, is proud to announce a new partnership with Doctors for Nutrition (DFN), an Australasian-based, doctor-led health promotion charity dedicated to advancing whole food plant-based nutrition as a pillar of lifestyle medicine.
As part of this collaboration, Doctors for Nutrition formally endorses two of ECP’s most widely used educational packages, "Healthy Eating" and "Eat for Your Health," which include engaging videos, lesson plans, discussion prompts, and more to promote healthy eating.
"Healthful Eating" explores the fundamentals of nutrition, helping students and adults alike understand how a well-balanced diet can help prevent common chronic diseases and improve overall well-being.
"Eat for Your Health: Creating a Colorful Plate" introduces younger learners to the basics of healthy eating, so they can identify healthy foods, understand the role of protein, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and create balanced meals for themselves.

Together, the Educated Choices Program and Doctors for Nutrition will also co-create a new educational video and resources on Cardiovascular Disease prevention, launching in the fall of 2025. This collaborative project will provide audiences with evidence-based information on how nutrition can be used not only to prevent but in some cases reverse cardiovascular disease, the world’s leading cause of death among noncommunicable diseases. The content will reflect both current research from leading health organizations and DFN’s medical expertise in public health and disease prevention.

“It is an honor to partner with Doctors for Nutrition, an impactful organization. Together we strengthen our shared mission: to turn science into action and bring evidence-based education to the world, equipping people to make informed choices, promote wellness, and extend healthspans. This collaboration reflects our continued commitment to advancing global health through knowledge that is powerful, practical, accessible, and free.”

“Doctors For Nutrition is honoured to partner with the Educated Choices Program. Together, we share a vision for a better world - one built on science-based education about how our food choices impact both our health and the environment. Through this partnership, we are committed to empowering individuals and communities to make informed decisions, thereby helping to create a healthier and more sustainable future for all.”
This partnership strengthens both organizations’ shared commitment to promoting health literacy and dietary empowerment worldwide. Explore this standard-aligned, Doctors for Nutrition-approved content below:
