ATLANTA, June 26, 2025 – The Educated Choices Program (ECP) announces recent updates to its environmental education package, “Our Carbon Foodprint,” including new language options, improved visual accessibility, and updated facts to ensure content remains timely and impactful.

The full package is now available in Spanish, featuring translated video narration and on-screen text, along with all accompanying educational materials. This includes lesson plans, guided notes, discussion prompts, activities, homework, and quizzes, which can now serve more students in bilingual and Spanish-speaking regions.

Created in collaboration with the Environmental Working Group, “Our Carbon Foodprint” examines the environmental impact of food choices, including greenhouse gas emissions, plastic pollution, food waste, and resource usage. At the heart of the package is a 19-minute educational video, which has already received widespread attention, reaching tens of thousands of people in 34 countries and across all six inhabited continents!

“We updated 'Our Carbon Foodprint’ because education must evolve as the world does. By expanding accessibility and ensuring our content reflects the latest science, we empower individuals everywhere to make informed, impactful choices. The reach of this education package proves that when people are given the tools to understand their connection to the planet, they become powerful agents of change,” says Lorena Mucke, CEO and Founder of ECP.

In addition to the Spanish update, the English video has been refreshed with improved visuals for better accessibility. To further expand worldwide access, new subtitles are now available in German, Portuguese, and Brazilian Portuguese.
