ATLANTA, August 22, 2026 – The Educated Choices Program (ECP) and Switch4Good are proud to announce a new partnership to develop an informative video and accompanying educational resources focused entirely on plant-based milks. These new materials will be added to ECP’s free educational library to help students and consumers make informed choices about their food. This partnership was announced on August 22, World Plant Milk Day, which brings awareness to the environmental, economic, and health benefits of plant milk.
The upcoming educational video will explore the history, nutritional profiles, and environmental impacts of both cow-produced milk and various plant milks, including soy, pea, oat, and almond. Viewers will learn that plant-based milks are not just a popular trend, but staple foods with rich cultural histories that can benefit both human and planetary health.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Switch4Good on this upcoming project, and there is no better time to announce it than on World Plant Milk Day. Switch4Good is an ideal partner with their global reach and extensive experience in plant milk research, policy work, advocacy, and youth empowerment.” - ECP Curriculum Manager Dan Taylor
This partnership builds upon a successful history between ECP and Switch4Good’s Executive Director Dotsie Bausch. As a former Olympic medalist, Bausch and other professional athletes contributed to ECP’s “Plant-Forward and Powerful” video that explores nutrition in athletic performance, endurance, muscle building, and recovery.
"As an Olympic athlete, I know that what we fuel with matters...We’re bringing this message directly into schools and communities because access and education must go hand in hand.” - Switch4Good Executive Director Dotsie Bausch
The new educational video and supplementary resources will soon be accessible to educators, students, and the general public. To explore this and other educational presentations, including the related video “What is Cow-Free Dairy,” visit learnecprogram.org.
